Pure Shooters
Are there any shooters out there. I see a bunch of robots out there that shoot into the goal while holding it. But are there any like woddie hoped on during kickoff? Also is anyone using the sensors to track the goals? For anything?

We can shoot across the field (we hope)!

We use the sensors to auto dock on the goals and to see balls to be put in the basket, but not to shoot anything. The sensors are just spiffy as hell though.

My team is using them as rotational sensors (paint black on a shaft and you can tell when it's made a full revolution) on our goal grippers (they rotate to lock onto the goal) http://www.startateam.com/639/movies/2002_norwich.mpg Greg |

Team 191 showed off their pure shooter at the Kodak scrimmage. It made about 90% into an unmoving goal from half a field away.
