Air Force Academy
I am curious as to if the USAFA sponsors a FIRST team? I know that the Naval Academy Sponsors 165, so i assumed the AFA would have a team out in the Springs, but I don't see their name affixed to any team. Any academy cadets out there know for sure? I am currently pursuing an appointment, and would love it if there was a FIRST team out there. If not, why not get one started? Feel free to PM me or IM me AIM s/n: DavidButzin

Re: Air Force Academy
The only Service Academies with FIRST teams are the U.S. Naval Academy and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. The U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Military Academy have been well exposed to FIRST but have not yet supported a team. Though I may be wrong, I do believe that only these two Service Academies actively recruit FIRST participants!

Re: Air Force Academy
Well I am a Norwich Cadet (aka US Coast Guard Academys rival) and have been trying to get our school involved to no avail. I just worked with the local team last year on my own time. This year im helping a rookie team 1466 in TN. I really think all the academys sould do this and at the end have a competition to see whos the best that year.
