Thank you to all Teams for their Gracious Professionalism! I am always overwhelmed by the students, it is a real pleasure to be there with all of you.
Special thanks to Teams 237 and 56 for making Team 303 part of the winning alliance. What a great show we all had!! We are going to Annapolis next and hope to attend the Nationals.
GO TEAM 303!

well i guess i am in a crowd by myself
for once i was amazed by HOW MUCH ROOM WE HAD
every year since i have participated in FIRST everyone always said rutgers was too small, and well it was, they CAN'T hold us anymore which goes to show you how much work the RINOS (rookies in need of support) crew has put into NJ, NJ is growing big time, we will have atleast 50 teams registered in this state by next year, btw next year may be a little harder to hear, seeing as we will have 2 fields one right next to the other. i can tell you NJFIRST has plenty of room to grow, i was one of the team queing people and we had more than enough room to comfortable set up many matches in advanced. i loved this venue (besides the drive, i just wanted to sleep in the stands ever night by the time it was over)

I only have two suggestions for the venue:

1) Offer food that is not meant to be fried

2) Open the pit area on the other side, too, so that I don't have to walk 2/3 of the way around the arena to get from pits to stands... and wait for people who stand on the steps :/ (or blow my back out like I did helping carry another team's tools crate up the steps)

Otherwise, I liked the venue a lot, and the volunteers and whatnot worked really hard to make everything run so smoothly. And it really did run smoothly! I was very pleased, considering it was the first major event of the year!

Thanks to 56 and 237

I'd like to send my thanks to Team 237 for choosing us as alliance partners in the NJ Regional, and 56 as well, for being outstanding alliance partners.

Our three machines meshed really well - thanks for letting us be a part of such a great alliance.

And a personal thanks to Trinora for the shirt. (I was the guy who accepted the alliance offer. )

Re: Thanks to teams at the NJ Regional

Hi everyone. The Johnson and Johnson Regional was fun...even though we didn't get picked by an alliance. Not to worry, we'll be better by Long Island and then Nationals so get ready! I'd just like to thank MOE team 365 and Rage team 173 for the spirit awards they gave to us. Our team is very proud that you recognized our enthusiasm. Once again thanks a lot. We all had a great time and can't wait until Long Island. Hopefully EVERYONE will join in our team parade this time.

Re: Thanks to teams at the NJ Regional

Team 007 would like to thank 1382 and 1156, the Brazilian teams for traveling all this way. It was wonderful listening to you sing your national anthem each day, and trying to communicate over breakfast in the morning at the hotel. I wish I spoke Portuguese, but it's amazing how much a smile can communicate. Thanks for giving so many shirts to so many on our team. Please consider coming to Chesapeake next year. I'll help you find the hotel again!

I would like to say that it is awesome to know that we've found friends! Thanks a lot for receveing us and being so kind with us. Thanks for the invitation, we'll consider it for sure. I would also like to invite your team (and extend this invitation to all teams), please consider coming to Brazil ( http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=24139 ) so maybe in 2005/06 we might have a Brazilian Regional. Wouldn't it be great?

Cool Re: Thanks to teams at the NJ Regional

We had fun at the regionals, and I think it went pretty good considering it was our first time.

I'd like to thank 228 and 56 for their assistance with the joysticks, and also our alliance teams 75 and 224. Now we have to get prepared for the next regional and the NATIONALS and prepare to fix our shattered gearbox. Who thought it was a good idea to make gearboxes out of plastic....

Anyway I hope we see everyone in Annapolis and Atlanta!

Re: NJ Regional---congrats

A sincere thank you to all participants in the NJ Regional. You all impressed me with your gracious professionalism, especially when we hit some bumps and potholes (to say the least) in the road and we didn't have any quick or positive answers for you. You were all just great! You made my job a pleasure!

thanx to 103 and 25 for pickin us because for a moment there we were scared we werent gonna get picked. it really sux that all 3 of our bots had some type of mechanical or electrical failure because i personally believe that we could have taken it all the way. BTW congrats to 56, 237, and 303 for winning. that was a very stong alliance and all 3 bots worked excellent together
