Yeah... That was bad! lol Half the people in the stands rushed the stage, and the other half (my team included) rushed to the team party!!!

I knew something was going on that day cause there was a big drum set on the main stage all day. I just thought it was going to be a real band of some kind, not a performer.

Ok. I'll admit it...most of my team rushed the stage...but thats besides the point! I'm kind of upset that there is a reason for them following people...it just ruins my theory that they don't care and that they're only interested in money! But it definitely is cool that they've chosen to follow someone involved with FIRST. Good luck.

I noticed the big Marshall guitar stack first -- I never would've guessed it was for Mandy Moore's band! Needless to say ... I instantly pushed to the front row anyway and managed to get a wink from the pop star.

A popular singer is a popular singer ... who would want to miss that?

Me... I really didn't see all the hype about a teenager with extremely short hair singing- I had plenty of time going on many EPCOT rides while the park was open only to FIRSTers, although most of them stunk. (To all of you mandy moore fans, please don't take this as an insult, I wouldn't have stopped to listen to anyone)

seriously, though, I heard that someone was crowd-surfing during that concert and another person dropped the surfer, cracking their skull open.. and that this is why FIRST doesn't allow dancing anymore- truth or a myth?

Truth though I thought he broke his neck plus he had a full scholarship. Also I don't know if it was at nationals.

continuing on that tangent...during the team party in the Saturn V exhibit at the KSC regional 2 years ago, a kid ran full speed into one of the steel struts that held up the rocket while playing ultimate frisbee. they had to call an`ambulance for him, and word on the 'street' was that he dislocated his shoulder

Re: MTV cameramen at NJ Regional

Am I the only one who doesn't know what True Life is? Is it another one of those MTV 'seasick camera man' shows? If they could hold the camera still a bit more, maybe I'd be able to watch the channel for more than 3 minutes

Buckeye at the Rock n' Roll HOF. I didn't know if his skull got cracked open but he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. FIRST told u slast year no dancing at the afterparty. And I thought the ROck n' Roll HOF was already a drag. No way I'm going back there.
