w00t!! Team 871 makes it into Newsday
Well, as a rookie team, we think this is quite an accomplishment. Newsday is the official newspaper for Long Island.

NO FAIR!!!! I WANT TO BE IN NEWSDAY SO I CAN GET SPONSERS!!!!
 i would read the paper, but i get the smithtown life section (seeing as i live in smithtown and attend SHS ) oh well, hope you guys get some publicity out of that.

Forbes is writing an article about our school. Because at our school robotics is the coolist thing there, the article is going to be centered around us. The writer and editor went to some of our design presentations to see what we are like. As a result of the article, some of our members are going to appear on CNN!!! We hope this will bring us sponcers, but you never know.

Yep, I saw that too
 Seems like FIRST is getting bigger and bigger news coverage each year. I know last year Newsday just had a little blurb after the competition with a picture.... And we were on 25 (Telecare) and 55 too. And then News 12 did a 1:30 clip as opposed to about 30s last year, and Fox 5 did like a 3:00 clip...pretty cool
