Re: girls: what's the lamest pickup line u've got from a guy at robotics comp?

I see how much you guys & girls enjoy. I wish there were enough indian girls for some indian guys like me(dont confuse me for being racial, its just what i personally like lol) in FIRST that I could play around with(especially trying to run away from grandma's eyes)

A few guys from my team two years ago would walk up to girls and say, "Excuse me, but you dropped your nametag." (They had a sugar packet in their hand.) How flakey was that!!!

I never knew this kind of stuff went on in FIRST. Chief Delphi, or some other team should include a section on their website for personals

I guess some people are discovering the other side of FIRST. Well its all good as long as it does not turn into a political institution lol.

the line that every girl should know

Girls, just for future reference:

M: Hey, beautiful. Can I buy you a drink?
F: Forget the drink. How'd you like to go back to your place?
M: Huh?!... Uh... Sure. I'd love to!
F: Great. Then get going. [goes back to drinking]

If I remember correctly...last year (around Prom time or so) there were alot of posts on CD about looking for the one. Heck...there were even some student run dating services going on.

This kind of thing, I think, happens whenever you get a whole bunch of girls and guys together in one place.

It wasn't for robotics but at some expo I went to this one guy was handing out pin withs binary on it the blue ones for guys and pink for girls anyway all the pink ones had pick up lines on it in binary (like... Voyager 3 was ahead of its time in saying Uranus is magnetic) it was hilarious

Re: girls: what's the lamest pickup line u've got from a guy at robotics comp?

A guy who turned out to be really nice came up to my friends and I and asked "What does FIRST mean to you?" with a little sly smile and nothing else to say

Also that day while my friends and I were giving out our infamous stress balls, a guy offered to give us free breast examinations

Re: girls: what's the lamest pickup line u've got from a guy at robotics comp?

Grr. I just typed up a whole bunch of them and then went to submit and it says I wasn't logged in, so I lost them all. Grr. Let me try to remember them:

"Hey baby, can I cap your goal?"
"Wanna hang on a 10-foot pole?"
"You make my autonomous program drive in circles!"
"You threw off my robot's IR sensors... 'cause you're really HOT!"
"How do you do it? You do so much hard on the robot AND you manage to keep yourself absolutely BEAUTIFUL!"
"I heard your team wouldn't let you in the drivers' area... they were afraid that you'd be too much of a distraction!"

Probably the only one that I've actually used (as a joke of course)...
"You've stolen my heart... but that's okay 'cause I've got three more back home in the freezer."
