Thumbs up UTC competitors - first in class!

I am bursting with pride in the attendees of the UTC New England Regional -- the level of sportsmanship, camaraderie and mutual respect between individuals and teams at the event was unsurpassed.

All the teams worked together -- in the pits, while cueing and on the stage -- and made the volunteers' lives very easy. It is because of your help that we were able to pull off such an awesome event! Thank you!

Also - the level of competition on the field was incredible -- I look at the Regionals as celebrations of the robot build season... and boy did you guys celebrate!

Kudos to you all! You should be very proud of yourselves. You guys rocked!

Re: UTC competitors - first in class!

I completly agree with you Aidan,

The teams were at their best on and off the field, gracious professionalism was everywhere. Many times the heat of competition will cause arguments, but not at UTC this year, even in very competitive times, all team members had a smile on their face.

Give yourselves a pat on the back UTC Regional teams, you rule.

Re: UTC competitors - first in class!

I agree, this year's regional was one of the best (if not THE BEST) i've ever been to. Running slightly ahead of schedule and smoothly, espcially with that killer ramp from the pits to the stage. The field set-up was the fastest i've ever seen (possibly maybe the ladders?) Volenteers were awesome, espcially when it came to us loading robots on and off the field, they moved out of the way FAST!!(thanks) UTC was really awesome!!

Thank you very much Aiden . Your input is greatly apreciated! Also I would like to thank you on your very good job at refering. Thanks to you, the other referees had a little fun with the hole flag throwing, which was hilarious, and just scoring the games and making those intense decisions. Once again great job! Hope to see you there next year. Have a fun off season (oh wait..there really isn't one in FIRST)

Aiden I would really have to say that was one of the best regionals i have ever attened everything ran so smoothly we had to brief our newer team mebers on how not to expect that with first heh seriolsy though everything ran on time queing was always ahead of time and the staff and volunteers were all a great help.
