Re: Coolest Driver Dance

Our drive team is kinda funny.. we all just generally listen to music.. and well Harlem Shake but it looks more like convulsing..

Last year we had the arm sway which is where we would move our robot arm back and forth and clap to the beat of whatever song was playing ( with the box gripper )

It was a crowd pleaser.. well atleast it pleased me lol

Re: Coolest Driver Dance

Tick Dance is the best IMO. As oz_341 said, the tick dance at Nats was pretty awesome. We had their guys doing it an our arm operator was getting involved and everything. Coincidence that we won the Galileo Division with the Ticks? I doubt it, also credit to Buzz for their great bot last year.

I just remember last year when we partnered up with 236 (and 175), everyone was like, we gotta win this division. Great robot for 236 in 2003 and great dance forever.

Re: Coolest Driver Dance

While on the topic of dances- at NJ and UTC, 237 had a tendency to do the "shimmy" dance- we flapped our hands at the bot and prayed it would keep the other bots off of the pole. When we get to finals, there's the fingercross/shimmy dance where the team keeps their arms in the air, their hands stay flapping, but the fingers, also are crossed.
