Please Post Pictures of 2002 & 2001 Batteries...
Hi all,
Now that we can all use enough batteries to run our power hungry beasts, I would like to know which batteries are legal. We have a real mish-mash of batteries in our collection. Between buying batteries for practice robots to the OCCRA competition to multiple years of being in FIRST, our battery collection is all a mess. I literally don't know for sure which batteries are the ones from 2001. To further complicate things, FIRST's message mentions "Exide or Yuasa" We have both in our collection, but again, I am not sure which were legal in 2001. The batteries from this year I think all say "Powerlift" across the front and I THINK they say 18AH somwhere on them -- we shipped ours so I don't have access to them right now. I think that FIRST must have shipped a variety of batteries (Exides and Yuasas?) last year. If folks would upload pictures of the batteries they got from FIRST this year and last year, I think it would help folks to know what batteries are acceptable. Help please. Joe J. |
