I'm going to dye my hair blond...
No, seriously: We just had some hair bets in our team. If we had won Langley the following would have happened:
a) one of our teachers would have cut off his entire hair (the other one already has it all down)
b) two out of three girls on our team would have dyed their hair red
Just a pity that we didn't win...

last year my hair was blue for ksc and green for nats... a girl on my team this year told me "not to be mean or anything, but it was ugly."

weird how people think that sort of thing is about being pretty.

this year at ksc my hair was orange and red, along with a few other kids. i think i'm doing purple for nats.

last year our shirts were green.. and it was hideous.. bleh. i hope we get new shirts in time for nats with a better color scheme. otherwise.. i'm going for purple hair.

I dyed my hair blue for nationals. It was all good until I decided to go swimming in a pool. Just a little hint if you are going to dye your hair make sure you get the good stuff that way it won't change colors on you in the middle of nationals.

My hair was pink for the KSC Regional, then upon leaving, I looked in the mirror in the car and I realized Pink does not look good on me.

So, I dunno what color I am gonna dye my hair for nationals, but it will still be dyed.

It depends on what type of hair dye you use.
There is some that wash out as soon as you wash your hair, some last about a week or two and then there are some that seem to never go away til your hair grows out.

even if you bleach your hair, it goes away eventually.. well.. it becomes a really pale shade of whatever color you had before. blue becomes green. red becomes pink. eventually you just go sorta off-white.

the spray crap is.. crappy because it's like hair spray. i use manic panic because it's the staple. and i generally use pillarbox red as my "normal" hair color.

The spray is bad because it runs when you sweat. I use Special Effects for my non natural colors and Nutrisse by Garnier for my natural color needs. My blue hair stayed blueish for about 1 and a half months. It is now back to almost normal, with somewhat of a greenish tint.
Non natural colors, blue, purple, pink tend to stay a shorter period of time and not take to the hair as well. If you have dark hair, you will want to bleech if you intend to get a vibrant color.
And a word of warning, the hair dye is a dye, and can and most likey will stain towels, skin, sinks. So far I have turned one hotel shower blue. The red that I dyed my hair last year at nats wasn't as strong and was a natural red color, and didn't stain the sink or shower.

And beware of getting the dye on you cheek...
