Re: Canadian SUPER Regional
Hey all!
Just wanted to wish everyone good luck at the Canadian Regionals... not that some of the teams there need it ![]() I can't wait to see some of the teams with their amazing bots in action and ofcourse the excitement, the tension, the mind numbing suspense and the suprises some of the matches will bring. Once again I wish each and every team the best of luck and I'm sure that we (1241) will be expecting to have a great time at Hershey Centre! |

Re: Canadian SUPER Regional
I have very much enjoyed the Canadian regional each of the past two years. I have attended about 15 FIRST competitions to date, and Canada is always one of my favorites. Even though it is not the closest and we have to put up with drayage charges and more difficult travel arrangements, team 639 always chooses the Canadian regional as its #1 event choice. With two playing fields and over 70 teams, it will be amazing
I look forward to meeting all of you and wish you all the best of luck! Please come track me down and introduce yourself; I always like to meet people from the Chief Delphi forums at events.See you Thursday! Patrick Dingle - Team 639 - Code Red Robotics |

Re: Canadian SUPER Regional
Say hi to me, I will be doing field reset (I'm usually the guy on the ladder). I also play as hp if a team doesn't show up. At the end of the precitice day I actually was hitting 75-80% of my shots.

Re: Canadian SUPER Regional
I don't know if everybody else notice this. There are alot of good shooters in Canadian regional. The balls go in the goal smoothly.

Re: Canadian SUPER Regional
Yep, it appeared there were some HP's who consistenly shot above 80%. It will be interesting to see how this changes as teams will have few balls to shoot and much more pressure duing qualifying and the playoffs.

Re: Canadian SUPER Regional
HEHE, I'm the first one to post here, the rest of our team is prolly still asleep.
First of all... WOW... I still can't believe it. Team 1114, you guys had a hell of a robot. Congrats for being number one seed and went undefeated all the way into the finals. Hope to see you in nats and again in Canada next year! Team 48, you put up a hell of a fight out there. You hung under the most pressure, quickly and flawlessly. You pushed almost every robot around effortlessly. It was a beautiful robot; I personally loved it. Team 1006, you stepped in when 1114 was damaged, you pushed us around. Your robot was very unique and cool. Congrats on the regional chairman's award as well. The first alliance was very lucky to have you. I already posted my thanks and congrats to our allies here. Thanks to Yan, Casey, Kristen, Nick, Alex, and Nathan, our drive rotation for a job well done. Thanks to Nick (again) for your programming, you were down the pits constantly, trying to get that autonomous to work. Thanks to Emilio (melo, emo), when our pneumatics broke you were always able to to fix it. We could not have pulled it through without you. My special thanks to Vanessa, our scout leader. You got us together and mauled over the what teams we should pick and came up with two awesome teams. You crashed where ever she could because she was wroking so hard. It was a pleasure scouting for you. Thanks to Doug, Roger for guiding us when time ran short and our robot was not yet inspected. You never panicked, always calm and understanding. We could not have done this without you. Good job everyone, this regional will stick with me forever. Last edited by Shu Song : 04-04-2004 at 16:32. Reason: forgot to close a tag |
