Tailgating at Championship

O.K. since the tailgate was such a blast at Chicago, the ThunderChickens are ready to organize the one at the Championship. One of our teachers, Anita, will be organizing things on our end and I will keep everyone updated on what we are bringing. I am charged with finding the location. The time will be at 6:00am (or 6:30am) on Saturday, location TBD.

At Chicago we brought a deep fryer, a grill, juice, chicken wings, sausage, and our entire team.

The TechnoKats brought a grill, eggs, chicken breasts, and a few of their students.

WildStang brought an excellent egg casserole, hash browns (huge hit), juice, eggs, and a few of their students.

Team Rush (27) brought their entire team.

The Huskie Brigade showed up along with some stragglers.

If we can get this organized a little sooner, then we can get a lot more teams involved.

I will be bringing the deep fryer again (with a much larger pot) and I am oh soo close to having my wife let me bring the "big boy" grill down from Michigan. I will also be bringing a lot of chicken wings. I will use this forum to get info from all of you on if you are interested and what you are going to bring. This should be a really huge party ..... now to find the location.

Paul - I am so glad that you set the record straight. We just showed up to eat ... and were quite nervous when nobody was in the parking lot at 6:20. Thank God you came "flying" in at 6:30 am ... we were getting hungry. By the way ... I didn't know chickens could fly!

Thanks for the great breakfast! Team 27 wants to be in on the planning for Nationals! Something simple, please

Re: Tailgating at Championship

I'm impressed with the fact that you all did "real" tailgating - RAGE got tons of bagels, donuts, juice, etc. but we didn't cook (although a portable fireplace would have made a nice addition - it was SO cold!). Not sure what we can contribute but please let us know... We like to party!
