Team 134's Autodesk submission

Hi,
How yall doin today? This is my first teams first autodesk submission and it was thrown together and organized largely in the past few weeks by me and a parent engineer. Could anyone give me some feed back? I'd be interested in what you have to say.

Re: Team 134's Autodesk submission

is there any way you could put all the files in 1 zip file or make it so we can FTP into your directory....downloading the individual files will take forever

Im looking into possibilities on that...i mostly put them up there so that they were up there for judging. I had just finished the files at 4:30 so i had to get them up. The screenshots folder holds the screen shots of the inventor files in .bmp format.

Thanks for you inquiry,

-Pat

Re: Team 134's Autodesk submission

This is my first year too for doing the Autodesk Inventor Award and I did the same thing that you did: that is putting all the files up on the website under a folder in one file without captions in an interesting layout. I've seen sme really nice ones doen by other teams since then, though, and I have decided that I am going to put in all in an organized website with captions etc. You wanted suggestions and I think that might be a very good idea.

Talking Re: Team 134's Autodesk submission

Hey I'm the head of inventor at team 103 Cybersonics. I'm honored that you recognized our site in your post and I posting for some advise that I can give you next year. Besides the remarks already mentioned something that really helps screenshots is changing the background color. This helps becuase judges and everybody else gets bored at seeing the same thing over and over again. If you can get your web team to help post screen shots right on the website so that people don't have to click to load them on another page 9it gets annoying). Another aspect to watch is what your seeing when you take a screen shot. You always want a picture that will tell you the most information about the object your showing. If you want any more help feel free to e-mail me. I have to say, for a single person with limited time you did do a good job.

Pat, our webpage team has about as much motivation as...well...me, and that't not a whole lot.
