Well, 60 ALMOST had it in Denver. We were consistently scoring 200 point matches, and one match that scored 180 WOULD have been a 230 had Truck Town been able to winch themselves up.

I can't wait for San Jose. I hope the Poofs do it. Their drivers are awesome, and I might be a little biased, but the bot is a beast.

Other bots I love: 980, 878 & 68 (made great alliance partners). I haven't seen too many at competition though. Been trapped in the pits.

I haven't seen HOT in action this year. A description of their play/function would be nice. (All I've seen are blurry pictures.)

Thanks,

Here's a good picture.

Hang off the side, wedge shape, great big ball controls, reliable autonomous mode. Fantastic all around.

Re: coolest robots

I would have to say that there are to many teams out there that are freakin awesome like 386, 61, 1120, 254/60, and to many more to list. Thanks for being very competitive even if it did involve almost messin up our robot. "it's a good adreniline rush" let's have fun at nationals

Re: coolest robots

1272 had one of the most effiecient bots I've ever seen out of a rookie. Kinda like Panther robotics last year cept' meaner. Of all the teams at St. Louis they gave us the biggest worry. (They were 1-1-1 against us(967), baxter(16), and 567 in the finals.) Very cool purple and green bot with a REALLY REALLY good driver.

Re: coolest robots

I definitely think that one robot that will do really well at nationals because of their awesome design and strategy is team 303. Their robot, allied with 237 and 56 in NJ brought the victory. Without them, we would have been eliminated for sure. Their ball collection and ball capping systems were fantastic. That robot was the coolest!
Other teams with cool robots:

126- Gael Force- Your hanging mechanism struck fear into the hearts of us on 237 during the UTC competition.

716- The Who'sCTeks have a really good hanging robot. We were considering picking you at NJ for your fantastic ability to get up on the bar quickly and accurately every time.

I'm sorry that I can't list all the other bots that I liked, but there were so many! See all you guys at Nationals!

Yeah I'd have to agree with this. The robot looked good just sittin in the pits. I also liked 67's (the flames around the bottom were really cool) and I thought 48's also looked good. 980 had one of the best wiring jobs I saw at nationals, and me being an electrical guy, it gave me some ideas for improvement for next year, not only for function, but neatness.

Re: coolest robots

I think that our robot the Fridge is one of the coolest robot. Not only the sizing box but the name take it "The Fridge" can it get any cooler .

But another team that is cool is that great hanging mailbox or just 237. we worked together and won NJ that is a cool robot.
