Re: Cant post to CD? windows update needed (not 4/1 joke)

at the site there were 5 critical updates for Internet Explorer - Im running vers 6

depending on how recently you updated your Explorer you might have more or less flagged as critical for your PeaSea.

BTW - its not a CD problem - I was also seeing it happen at other websites, including Yahoo.com

I have been using Mozilla Firefox 0.8 and have never had a problem with CD and most FIRST related websites. In my personal opinion, Mozilla is a much efficient browser than IE.

Ditto
You should give FireFox a try Once I installed FF, I have never gone back to ie (except to do windows updates).

My favorite part about FF is that to open a link in a new tab, just click on the link with your scroll wheel. This makes reading many CD threads quick and easy.

Yeah, I didn't experience any problems and I'm running FireFox also.

One warning if you do use it: it currently doesn't support the advanced editor here. You have to set it to "standard."

You see? This is why I run Opera. Horray for non-Microsoft browsers!

In my experience, you need to reinstall flash, shockwave, and java along with any other plugins you use. Normally it is as simple as going to a webpage that requires the plugin and clicking the "get plugin" link.

Also, I prefer FireFox over Mozilla because it is much faster to load initially.
