I have lots of uses for this as I currently have an accelerometer as well (ADXL202E) hooked up to the mindstorms. I am planning on creating a two-wheeled balancing robot similar to LegWay, but with the ADXRS300/ADXL202 and a bit of Kalman filtering. This is just a proof-of-concept design to see if this combo works. This should be a very interesting project. This leaves me with more room to add yet another sensor to the mixture (like the Sharp distance sensor or a light sensor). I let you guys know when I finish this...

Hey Ram , good luck it seems Joe and Ken have set you on the right path, keep us updated on your pojects and if you have any other questions, were here to help. Also what mindstorms kit are you using this on, i havent seemed to find a good mindstorms kit that i could use to test rotational and yaw rate sensors on?
