Gracious professionalism has nothing to do with this. John is a well respected mentor and friend of many. Just think of it this way...if the great & infamous Krispy Kreme King himself (Dave Lavery) would participate in such an act, it can't be too bad.

You know, it is pretty cool to see people looking up to a mentor like John. This is what FIRST is all about. Dean and Woodie's premise behind FIRST was to bring attention to people who are "heros" in the world of science. Well, it appears that John is a hero to many... even Mr. Lavery!
