During the four years that I was a part of Team 71, I had the pleasure of having Mr. Noble as a mentor. There's just something about the guy...he's like a big teddy bear that is handy with just about everything! He's the biggest kid on Team Hammond. At meetings he is always joking around with everyone...kids, parents, and other mentors alike. When it comes to competition time, however, he puts his game face on.
His guidance and mentorship has helped me greatly now that I am a mentor for Team 1064. Anything our team has ever needed, he has been able to help us with as well. Last year, in 2003, we were at the Buckeye Regional for our first regional ever...Mr. Noble was there in support of 461 but ended up spending a good deal of time in our pit helping us with some radio problems.
Congrats again, Mr. Noble...you deserve it! I hope you have time to visit Coke World in Atlanta and can find something to add to your amazing collection
