Congratulations to Mr. Bastoni for this well deserved award!!
Most people don't know that team 383, the first Brazilian team on FIRST, was mentored by team 23 (which was no longer participating in FIRST back then) in our rookie year, 2000. Phil Benevento came to Brazil and helped us for 4-5 weeks of the building season, and without him the team wouldn't be where we are today. Thanks a lot, Phil!  We really miss you!And Mike was gracious (and crazy!) enough to receive a bunch of teenagers at his house when we went to our first competition in 2000. We had a great time, and two students even stayed at his house for a couple of days Once again, thanks and congrats to Mike Bastoni and team 23!!!
