Cheering Sections at Nationals

Now, this year will be our first year at nationals, so I don't really know what it's like there, but I'm assuming that with high entry and travel costs, many teams can only send their core members, which means less people in the stands cheering for their respective teams.

So, why not combine all the smaller team cheering sections into larger groups that can plan who to cheer for, or just create a lot of coordinated noise and loudness?

What I'm proposing here is an experiment in team spirit, and I don't know if it's been formally done before, but here's how I think it can work:

1. Any team going to nationals can post their team number into this thread, to express interest in joint cheering sections.

2. When all the field divisions are posted, the teams on the same field can get together and plan out what they want to do.

3. At competition, the joint cheering sections can take over a group of seats and support their teams on the field. This means that people will be cheering for their own teams when applicable, and for other teams of the group at all other times.

Any comments or suggestions?
