Wow, that's all I can say. Today was absolutely amazing. We (67) would like to thank our partner in that match (1126) and the alliance captain (340) for that quarterfinal match. The day was amazing, and I am still in shock!

Re: High Scores

We didn't have high score matches, but we did have pretty high scores on our own. At Philly, our alliance partner broke once, then another match our alliance got tangled up with another bot so they were ineffective. Both of these matches were then played 2 on 1 , us being the 1. Also both of these matches ended in us having 150 points . By ourself. I thought it was pretty decent. This happened in the qualifiers. If there are any others let me know. I would love to hear.

Re: High Scores

Here's another no hanger high score 90 points small balls. NO DOUBLER. Lindsey, our human player was on fire in Philly. I know with doublers teams have scored higher but who expected 18 small balls to be scored by 1 team this year.

If I remember correctly, team 33, the killer bees did that in week one at VCU during the elimination rounds.

Oops. our team popped 6 in practice rounds, but we fixed that problem. Had a "Ball Smoted" tally (by the way, what's the right past participle for "smite"?)

Highest score at Colorado Regional was 200 by Team 60 and somebody else. One robot hanging, 2x multiplier.. not exactly sure if it was 15 in that goal, or a different combination.

wow... very harsh on HP's espically when we have the biggest part of depending on how well we do is all up to how well our team does... we get the pressure also of where a match can come down to 5pts which is either 1 miss or 1 make of a shot!!!! its not our fault in any way shape or forum that its hard to break 100 regularly... we did it in 7/9 of our matches at UTC... i at least get 2/3 of the first 3 balls in the staitionary, and even if me and the other HP both make our 3 balls thats only 30 points... so then from thier its up to the drivers and manipulators to gather small balls, to get 2x balls and cap, and to hang...

I don't know of a more text book match than that one. I had heard rumors that the buckeye regional was going to have an archived webcast available. I sure hope so because that's a match I want to watch over and over. Thanks for being such a great alliance partner!!

Re: High Scores

at the Canadien regionals our robot and our alliance managed to score 140, which was the highest score for almost all of the first day. Point were widly differentiated between rounds, soume teames were easily doing 100+ point round while other teams were winning in 5 vs. 0 point rounds.

773, though 639 and your team scored a 140 point match, it was broken very soon afterwards by 1241's 150 point match. 150 was the highest RP in Canada, while 639 and 33's 170 point match was the highest in the elimination rounds.

From what I'm seeing/hearing, 220 is still the highest from Buckeye. At Midwest, we had tied with the 210 high score, but ironically, Buckeye was going on at the same time when the 220 was scored.
I'm hoping to see some record breakers in Atlanta!
