Need i remind you of Carolina 2 years ago, making it to the cup finals? Or the Caps in 97, Florida in 96. Tampa Bay this year?(1st seed in the Eastern Conference). Dallas has won a cup. Southern teams arnt exactly bad.

Just like to point out that the Red Wings beat both the Caps and Carolina in the finals, and would have beat Florida if the Avs didn't fight dirty back in '96

Grrrr.....Just wait until the AVs are victorious again this year. It happened the year after NJ won the cup the last 2 times, and it will again this time.
