I repeat.....
I visited Cornell last september and had dinner with some kids on their FIRST team. The founder is Patrick Dingle, they are team #639, Code Red, they were rookies in 2001, and they are joined with Ithaca High School but are totally sponsered by Cornell. I haven't recieved a letter back from that school so I don't know if I'm rejected or accepted. I haven't heard back from Rensselaer or WPI either and I'm a little concered as to if acceptance letters for general admission have been sent out yet. Well, I'll see ya'all at UTC!

Ah, alright, my mistake. Cool beans though that Cornell does in fact have a team.
I have yet to recieve a letter back from RPI myself (I did regular admission there). Any day now for that! -John D. |

Wow sorry that happened Team 311. If I remeber correctly our bot was the one that got into a pushing match with your bot when it first broke the drill motor. Can you give me a detailed story of what happned?

Now that you mention it I believe it was the Longwood 'bot that we were pushing with. As far as details unfortunately there really aren't to many.
It boils down to this: To much traction + To 'tall" a gear ratio = Smoke Suffice it to say that we will be prepared to make changes when we open the crate in Disney at the Nats. You guys definitely had a nice machine. |

Now all we need to figure out is how to use those motors with the plastic mounts without destroying the mounts.Last edited by Adam Y. : 28-03-2002 at 17:11. |
