Finals clarification
The rules state that the alliance captains can pick between themselves (the top 8) for finals. Does this mean that, say, the 3rd seed could pick the 1st seed? How would this work? Would the 3rd seed surrender it's alliance captain position and become a part of the 1st seed's team?

The top 8 teams pick their allies in order of their seed. By the time the choice got to the third seed, the first seed would already have a team allied to it. Basically, I don't think that a lower seeded team can pick a higher seeded team.

We were JUST reviewing the rule on this...
In the book it says that teams may choose from the "remaining unpartnered teams" The 1st seed would already be partnered, so that choice couldn't be made.. |
