Wow, and I mean Wow!

Can't begin to describe what a blast I/we had at the championship. The disappointment of losing in the third match of quarterfinals from a no-hang call (which was absolutely the right call) was over before the next match even started. This game was the the best to watch since Co-Opertition First, probably on par with it for excitement. Way to go Cindy and team.

107 (MetalFlow) and 501 (PowerKnights) - You guys were great partners. No regrets, we'll play with you any time. Somebody from 107 apologized to our team - please get that out of your mind. You deserved to be there and we won and lost together.

Dr. Joe and Raul - conference on appendiges was great; just enough detail to give a 1 hour overview. Raul: Check out some video of our scissors deploying the hook (I won't ask you to change your slides, I agree telescopes are generally better):

Pretty cool meeting / re-meeting everyone at the webhug and around the pit. I had to hunt down Al Skierkiewicz and JVN to make it a complete weekend - I always look forward to what you have to say.

Cheezy Poofs - congrats on Chairman's award. You have a great team - they were a pleasure to talk to and to watch.

We had an awesome team meeting on the bus ride home - our kids are stoked for next year. The 2005 season is underway.

We had team members who also immediately began brainstorming for the new season, and members new to the 2004 season who were thrilled to hear that 2005 season began on Sunday.

The educational advisor who joined us in Championships had never known about robotics before, and has now become a convert. He plans to return every year to competitions, greatly support our team, and take a very active role at competitions next year *gleeful smile about the surprise we hope he'll pull off for next year* It'll be fun!
