Re: coolest mascot

I would have to disagree with everyone that has posted so far, and officially cast my vote to THE mascot of the year, Team 469's Guerrilla!! he was by far the most entertaining and exciting mascot that i witnessed at Nationals this year. From backflips, to windmills, this mascot could do it all, from his nonchallant gorrilla swagger, to his chest thumping roars, there was no other that could compare. The man behind the mask of team 469's Mascot deserves the honor of COOlest Mascot.

They were awesome. Not just the devil duckies and the creative adopt a duckie, it was their entire presentation and spirit. I loved them!

Yes, they did. I had the pleasure of sharing the super 8 with this team (thanks for the photoshop lesson!) and was able to confirm that the man in the cardnal suit was the same one who splatterd his own blood on the "Band Saw Safty" poster.

The Cucumber mascot was interesting.. But, apparently it was supposed to be a Cactus??? I don't know.. Looked like a Cucumber to me.

Yep... I agree. Mike is a cool guy and quite a sport for bearing with many jerks who were out to beat on him. Once, he got slammed by 5 kids at the same time and just took it. They wanted to pull off his cat head, or something like that. That wasn't cool.

Good job, Sholty.

Re: coolest mascot

We brought our school's mascot, the blazer, but we want to make a wrench-man mascot. There arent many other dedicated-robot team mascots. i saw a lot of mascots that seem to be school's mascots, but not robot mascots.

http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/pictures.php?s=&action=single&picid=7716&direction =DESC&sort=date&perrow=5&trows=10&quiet=Verbose

So we are looking into making a costume in the shape of our symbol. Other than finding team members/parents that like to make these sorts of things, any suggestions on how you get a mascot costume?
