weight and all will still apply, but the whole competition is much more relaxed.
I can't speak for the event officials, but if you're over by like 1/10th of a pound, or your robot protrudes by 1/8", noone should make a big stink about it. One thing I dont think Ken mentioned is the side events. Last year we did robot sumo wrestling, fastest autonomous mode, obstacle course, human player challenge, etc. The side events are a lot of fun and sort of "bragging rights" for us Bay Area teams ![]() Everyone should come to the biggest and best Cal Games yet, if not with your team, just to spectate, because it's tons of fun.
