For the regionals our team was really tight on budget. We had a lot of sponsors but each sponsor only gave a little amount of money. The price each student had to pay kept on rasing. When we found out we were qualified for the Nationals we had about a week to gather $30 000 because we had $0 left from what we had ealier. We basically had about 5 team members skipping classes and going around town for sponsors. After first two days we raised about $10 000 and things weren't looking so good for us. Each student/team member will probably have to pay a lot by themselves. We had a meeting on the third day after school and by then we were over $20 000. We were really happy then because most of the financial needs could be paid off. As time went by and even during the compeition we've gotten more and more sponsors and money.!.
