Re: Who used IR this year?
We weren't at the championship this year but we did successfully implement IR sensors this year. It worked very well. We had the robot move forward until it saw IR beacon, turned approx 90 degrees using a yaw-rate sensor and moved forward until it knocked off the ball. We also used a camcorder to record autonomous mode during our mathces to take back to the laptop for debugging, which really helped.
