Go to Post I jumped up and yelled when I saw both my teams in the same division. Less running for me in the pits. Thank you, Great Homie in the Sky! - Barry Bonzack [more]

Congratulations to the NYC winners!!

Congratulations to everyone who participated in the NYC Regional!!

In particular, great job by the winning alliance;
Teams 237, 358, and 549 (I think I'm correct...not positive about the last one.)

Also, congratulations to Regional Chairman's Award winner, team 121!!

I can't recall all of the awards, but 810 won Highest Seeded Rookie for the second weekend in a row, seeding 9th. By luck of the draw, we wound up being the 7th picking alliance.

We'd like to thank our partners, teams 596 and 694, for their awesome performance. We nearly had 'em 237 is an awesome 'bot, and they put up a good fight.

Also, a huge congratulations to team 713 for winning the play of the day! . . . to think, from a nearly empty frame to a performing robot in two days. That's what FIRST is about.

Congratulations to the winning alliance! 237, you had a wonderful bot.

Also, thanks to 810 and 694 for taking a chance on us. We really appreciate your help on our robot, especially just after coming off a qualification match against us. You guys are a great team, glad to have you at this regional.

CONGRATS to the winners!!
Hey 358, I was very happy to see you guys do well in the city. A couple of our team members drove in to see the comp. They said that you looked great. I watched the webcast and you made the final match look too easy!!!

Congratulations to all teams that participated in the NYC event. I was impressed by the great competition! A few teams I would like to congratulate in particular:

340 for picking us as their first alliance selection and for a great robot design
655 for being our second alliance partner
759 for coming all the way from England with a great robot, and for the "Bob's our uncle" chant that probably no one understood except our teams
237 not only for a magnificent and effective robot, but for all the times I saw your team fixing OTHER teams' robots.
810 (and alliance) for managing to eliminate our alliance

We received the Motorola Quality Award, so with some major funding luck over the next 5 weeks we will see you all at Nationals!
