No they aren't. From someone who actually pays to go to RIT, with tuition, room, and board, the total cost is somewhere around $30,000 per year (from looking at RIT's website it's $30,549). Now, most of the people I know are on some form of scholarship or other as well as financial aid. That said, RIT's also a private institution so there's no such thing as "in-state" tuition. RIT happens to be one of the cheaper private schools out there. About 6 years ago, when I was looking at colleges (was it really that long ago?), RIT was listed as one of the best values in the northeast.

Well thanks for the info. It's been difficult. And I got to say, I really enjoyed the rivalry between Lehigh and Lafayette because I like colleges sports. However, i've come to the decision that I will start at WPI because it will be easier to transfer out of should it not be what i'm looking for. The loss is... engineers playing sports. ;D

The Neutrons are in Boston though I forget where they are in the city. All I remember is that you take the Northeaster University train stop.

yeah... i would be a high school senior right now, but the university of washington gave me a two-year early entrance. so right now i'm a college sophomore, and next year.... I'll still be at the UW. HUSKIES RULE.
What is it with colleges and dogs?? Northeastern has the Huskies. Your college has the huskies and right down the street BU has the Terriers.

Umm isn't DLaavery involved with robotics??? If that is the case aren't you getting the wrong degree.

Errr... I thought he did work with robotics. Sorry. I remember talking to another NASA scientist and he said Dave was his boss. I assumed then he must work with the robots since this scientist did.

"When in doubt, go to Stout!" I'll be making my journey to UW Stout for technology education! Thanks Mr. Schuff for being a great role model, and my inspiration to become a teacher. Hope to mentor a team someday.

Dave does work with robots. You might have heard of his "toys" Spirit and Opportunity.

I think they might be on Mars or something

Wouldn't working with robots entail computer science.
