The Philly Reg. Team Party

1 word: horrible.

The dance floor was small, but the music system was awesome. But it seemed that most teams were pre occupied with observing exhibits rather then familiarizing themselves with other teams and just basically "getting their grove on." It was only 2 hours long and on Thursday night, what the....? Aren't all the other regional team parties on Friday night and approximately 4 hours?

The food was awful at Lone Star but I had a good time at the party itself, large dance floor, good music selection, and a lot of people getting their groove on. It was only a few teams still there when I left, my group was one of the few teams left. I'm not sure exactly when it ended, I think it just ended when everyone started leaving. But ours was on a Friday night, I think thats much better than Thursday.

I agree and disagree. My team got down there and partied for a while. But like you said myself and other people did go to other exhibits. The dance floor wasn't too small. Many people didn't get involved at all though and the dance floor was sometimes pretty empty. Everybody seemed to enjoy themselves though. The exhibits were fun, the music great, great food, and everybody hung out for the most part. If anyone made it to the Third floor they had the best video on of all these chemical reactions making things happen and I know lots of people went there since that was great.
