The Unspoken Tragedy

Some might know I was looking for Columbine High audio from the day of the shootings. After a hour of editing, and another hour and a half of remixing, I've finished it. There's a link to it in my signature.

I give credit to:
Evanescence - I used their "My Immortal" song for it. It seemed to work excellent.

The guys who did "Bowling For Columbine" - I got all my audio from this video. Thanks.

Please tell me what you think.

(Sorry if it's "illegal", or something.)

(Edit): I did this for two reasons:
1. There's nothing like this, from what I've found, and I feel that it was very disappointing.

2. I wanted to get better at this, because I hope to become a music producer or sound editor when I'm outta school.

Good job. The editing job was fine except for one part where there was a split second cut I think. Is there any particular reason you decided to do this? (just curious) Anyway, nice job, the haunting vocals of that song really added to the job and the powerful nature of the clips.

If you mean at the beginning, where it's like "With my cold dead hands!" - pause - "gun shots"....then yes. But I didn't know at the time, lol.

After I uploaded that upto the site, I messed w/ it somemore, and added a "oh god!" there. Also, I did try taking out the pause, but it didn't work to well from what I liked. so I just left it like that.

The only suggestion I can make is to make the audio transitions flow a little better. The audio seemed to jump in real loud & abruptly, rather than a gentle fade. Other than that, it was very cool. Good job.

That is the biggest thing I didn't like about it. But I tried my hardest. I'm still working on it though, so hopefully I can make it work better.

I talked to raven and i will be making a slideshow slash movie for this so look for it by the end of the week, it would be done earlier but its last official week of senior school before exams so i have to get my grades up so i at least pass. so ya end of the week
