Regional Team Parties....

Just a question for all you members who have already attended a regional competitions.... what was/were there requirements to attend the team party? At the Philadelphia regional team party at the Franklin Institute, everyone was required to wear a Drexel/Philadelphia tshirt in order to gain admittance for the party. I thought it was ridiculous to make it mandatory for everyone single attendee to wear the same shirt. No originiality, just another way to advertise for free. The party is one of the few chances team members have the chance to express their own individual style/fashion.

Cleveland.....

In Cleveland the team party was at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame so attendance had to be limited...on Friday everyone recieved a certain amount of wrist bands that you had to wear to get into the team party...

Since they had to limit it not every team got the number of wrist bands that they needed so some people could not go...I did notice at the regional though that the FIRST crew was going around collecting extra ones that some teams had to give to teams that didnt have enough...but i'm still pretty sure not everyone was able to attend...

Other than that the team party was pretty sweet since they had the ENTIRE hall of fame open for us to walk around.

Our team lost our wristbands from Cleveland, and we had to beg FIRST to give us new ones. They finally relented and gave us 20 new ones.
