The channel is merging with G4, Comcast's gaming channel. I have no idea if this show will make it through the merger or not...we can only hope that it will.

Hey, I recognized Big Mike is on TV! HE'S A *STAR*! I mean, you couldn't miss someone that's like 6'10" with a bright hawaiian shirt on...

I saw Paul Copioli at the beginning, as well as Sir Charles saying "Welcome to the Georgia Dome" lol. I think the special is pretty good, however towards the end it's starting to turn into just showing matches and sounding more like Battlebots... even though the beginning of the show was MUCH more expressive of Gracious Professionalism. I do think it's a pretty good special though overall.

i saw our pits for less that .5 secs =P... yay 121 =P... so far i think its a little to based on these 3 teams... i think that they maybe should have had 4 people... 1 at each field looking at the "big dogs" from the regionals... it would show those teams that execeled earlier in the season... but its still pretty good =p

They are saying a lot of things about teams and their robots that are very maliciously amateure (as opposed to graciously professional). I'm not sure what to think of this show.

I liked the comment the announcer made about the dodgeballs. It was and Ok special.

Honestly that show was very appalling. That host was an idiot, he had no idea what he was talking about, they treated it like battlebots and even bashed that rookie team from California....honestly they could have done better.... a lot better....

I agree. The "announcer" during the game segment was terrible, they highlighted the seedier aspects of FIRST, and in general I came off with a much more negative vibe than I got from the A&E special in 2k1.

I can't agree with you more. They couldn't even ge their facts straight. They didn't mention how the eliminations work, or mention team 435 as part of the winning alliance. This show was absolutly dreadfull to watch.
