How do all the rest of you afford (time and money) to attend so many off-season events? I see some of you are attending up to a half dozen! I'd like to see our team extend it's season like that but can't imagine the cost associated.

I am not sure what my alma mater has planed this year. However, during my driver days and we traveled the "MidAtlantic" circuit like some others - all costs were placed upon those traveling. Usually, it was just the floor team, and 3-4 other students. Along with parents, mentors, and engineers. We would all load up tools, and the robot into our own vehicles, and make the long trips ourselves. Most were day trips, however comps. such as MD Fair were 3 day events and were much costlier.
