Ok.
If you installed Apache on Windows, by default the root document dir is C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache\htdocs or C:\Program Files\Apache Group\Apache2\htdocs, based on what version you are running. I have been using Apache 1.3.x under Windows for a long time for my site (endeavour.zapto.org) and I have found it both slow and incredibly stable. I have found Apache 2.0.49 (the only 2.0.x I have used under Windows) to be very fast and rather unstable. If you want me to send you my config files and other details, PM me. Good luck Apache-ing. |
