Superedubot. We decided to hook up some bosches with no gearbox to some 6" wheels, bolt this onto the edubot chassis and watch it fly across the parking lot.

**This project has not yet been completed. We started it after the 2003 season but it keeps getting pushed aside by other projects- read superdrive (nextgen drive train we've been working on), MOGO (full size segway we built), or the holonomic drive I built for my senior research project at school after this season. Poor Superedubot, we just keep getting distracted.

Re: What's the pimpest thing you've done with one?

My programing team thought it would be funny to have their edu-bot follow people around our mock playing field, down the hall, waited at the bath room door and continued to follow into the shop. Remote controll of course, but they did use some sensors for line trackig, and programed it to dead rekon out the door and down the hall.

That'd be a cool program. Especially the waiting at the bathroom door part. Someone actually put reflectors on the back of her (?) shoes and made the edu follow that.

Re: What's the pimpest thing you've done with one?

My edubot experienced dorm life.

I taught it to go down my hall, knock on a door, and then come back into my room. Dead reckon but it worked a couple of times.

Lots of fun at 1 or 2 in the morning.
