Chain E-mails

Don't you hate those e-mails you get that say "you must forward this to 10 people you know or else you will become unlucky" or something to that effect. My stupid friend has been sending me those and while they sometimes have fun things in them like the Chinese Horoscope one, they make me angry in a way. See, currently my e-mail is 99% spam free. I'll get maybe one spam message every 10 weeks or so. But now with these chain messages, they get forwarded dozens of times over and then your address is all over the place in who-know's-who's hands and now al these people have got your address because your friend sends it to you and 9 other people and they all send it to 10 people and every time your adress is copied into the new message header and it gets everywhere. Horrible.

So, everyone I ask you, for the sake of your own privacy and for the sake of the internet as a whole, do not forward those STUPID pyramid/chain messages no matter how unlucky you may become. The best and only place you should forward them to is the digital round file aka trash. They'll mess with your mind and make you believe things you shouldn't all in a glamourous attempt to harvest e-mail addresses. Don't fall for it. If so, you are an idiot.

So I'm not going to find my true love? But I sent it to 10 people like it told me to! *grumble*
