45 Bevel Gears
Hey,
Don't know if any of you have other engineering clubs at your schools, but one that im in is the TSA. Anyway im doing a project where i am using a globe motor, with a 45 degree bevel gear to a 1/4" shaft. Anyway the gears aren't gripping one another and are just jumping, i dont have enough space in my project to have any kind of a real bearing or housing or front plate for the globe motor, i was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to get the gears to mesh better? |
