The best way, in my opinion is to find a place where you can support yourself from both sides, like a hallway or in my case, a kitchen island (my mom hated the carpet and hoped I would destroy it). If the uni comes out, catch yourself with your hands that have been touching the walls/counters. Balance will come with time. Another good way is to use two friends as mobile crutches, one on either side of you.
