actually, i was thinking that the pointer-following, point-and-click system would work better with some keyboard play added. for pausing, switching gears/speeds, and operating mechanisms that may not particularly affect items (such as flipping one's robot back upright). i guess mouse/keyboard is pretty much the obvious choice. i'll let some more people vote, but unless we get a few for different categories, i will make a poll on what type of keyboard/mouse system we want to use
