Talking 2004 IRI Favorite Phrases

With Dan Green and Paul Copi-oil* at the helm again and with a little help from DJ Fluck and other, the announcing at IRI was great. And now it's time to share with the CD community some of the sayings that were used. But, if you have a saying that wasn't said by the announcers thats ok, I want to read all the great sayings and phases that were overused by your team!

In case you didn't know, the people behind the scoring table that had nothing else to do wrote some phrases down on a piece of paper and the announcers would try to fit them in.

here are some to start...

"blue balls"
"it's Five O'Clock somewhere"
"Goats Do Roam in Villages, (again!)"

When Dan's there, it's always a party.

Hopefully, all of us will get wedged onto a field again someday!

Re: 2004 IRI Favorite Phrases

It was "bring back amy", they would never admit to liking amanda's "act".
of course there were other classics on those cards, such as:
"who made the injured girl do the tumbles?"
"Plan A:survivor Plab B:THIS"
"Plan A:THIS!! Plan B:Survivor"
"TROMBONES RULE!!"
and many many many more....

Re: 2004 IRI Favorite Phrases

When the smoke started coming out...Dave putting up "It wasn't me." because of course it happened after he drew the BIC lighter... but that isn't something that should have been a favorite phrase...

But almost all those signs were amusing.

Re: 2004 IRI Favorite Phrases

I have to say I liked all the quotes that people had! I am the one from the WildStang IRI talent show.. Yes I was wearing a knee brace because I was a little stupid after a WildStang meeting and fell on some ice and hurt it bad.. Even if the engineers told me no I couldnt tumble I would have done it aways! I am one that puts up a fight for what I want to do!
