This is how D2 will be scored...unless anybody has any suggestions about point values or added categories or what-not. It makes it a little more exciting. Let me know if you have suggestions.

Low Seed Upset High Seed 15

If a team is in a ranked position and drafted...they recieve both their rank position points and their draft points (that's why #1 seed is so high). If a team moves up...they recieve their new points...not their old points.

Example:

Team A is in 3rd. (Currently 45 points). Team B is in 7th (Currently 25 points). Team C is in 10th (Currently 0 points).
Team A is drafted by the #1 seed alliance. Team A now gets their original 45 points plus their drafted in first round points (30) for a total of 75 points. Team B therefore moves up to spot #6 (Now worth 30 points).
Team B is drafted by the #5 seed alliance. Team B now gets their new 30 points, plus 30 points for a total of 60 points.
Meanwhile Team C has been eagerly waiting and is now the #8 seed alliance. Now they get 20 points. Simple huh?

Collin Fultz's third pick ended up winning the IRI. Grrrrrrrrrr.........!!!!!!

Should be pretty close with a unexpected wins/losses and even some enexpalined great rankings!

as for updates...we'll have those posted ASAP...as soon as i get all the match results from david and ken (there were some problems saturday...should be soon though)

as for the two teams that didn't show...i guess matt can figure out how to hand that...there were 5 teams that weren't drafted...they could get one of those teams instead

i was kind of bummed that our team didn't win. but then I looked at our drive team - totally new for IRI...look out FIRST...that's not a bad way to start out - and realized the amazing potential they have *plus our HP was a ton better than our HP throughout the season * and didn't feel quite so bad.

later I was reminicing about my fantasy FIRST picks (all three teams were in the elimination rounds--how bout that) and remembered that I had team 269. i felt a little better.
