Re: Your Shipping Crate

1: No
2: Well... its a crate. Its just a box made out of wood. We then nail boards in to keep everything from shifting. Hinges on the crate would make opening it easier.
3: Whatever we have lying around?
4: Nope... Thinking like that is beyond us at the moment. Give us a few years and we'll become efficient.
5: 2 years!
6: The day before it needs to be shipped... Or there abouts.
7: Used it again this year ^_^ I wanna turn it into a playhouse!
8: Not much... just the robot really...and batteries. And all of our arms/ladders
9: It wasn't- we squeaked by!

Talking Re: Your Shipping Crate

Does your crate have a function besides being a crate? Nope not really. Unless you count it as being a place where people stay during "time out" after being naughty.... and as storage space for a whole lot of bubble wrap.

What do you like or dislike about your crate? Well I would have to say I like it because it's quite light (in terms of weight)...however it's not unique in any way and doesn't really bear any significance. Someone could easily mistake it for a cardboard box I daresay...

What do you look for or want in a crate material? Gotta be light, durable, functional...

Do you use the crate in the pits? Sure, it's a nice place to hide from mentors when they're not in their best mood

How old is the crate you are currently using? 6 months (2004 was our rookie year)

When in the six weeks do you start thinking about the crate? probably during the last two...

What did you do with the old one? N/A (Rookie year 2004)

How much other stuff do you pack with the robot? A lot, I'd say...we try to fit in as many tools as possible without overweighing and without causing any potential damage to the robot

How overweight was the crate this year? Hmm not sure, I don't recall our crate being overweight
