Hi, this is Rick Blight and I was the Alliance Captain from team 121. I would like to personally thank both team 69 and 103 for a great alliance. You both were eager to cooperate and performed our strategies perfectly. We only lost one match together by one point. Not bad considering that RAGE (173) was supposed to win according to all the post concerning UTC. But all 3 teams worked together to win the largest regional FIRST has ever had! Thanks again 69 and 103. We will see you again in Florida!

Yeah, awsome regional. I would have like to have made elim rounds but alas, no matter how many matches you win (7 of 8), it's all about qualifying points. I finally found out how much stress a driver goes through.

GG and I'll see everyone next year.

I'd just like to thank team 121 for picking us to be in their alliance. I was sweating bullets on the sidelines waiting to be picked. You guys really came through. All in all, i want to thank both teams 121 and 69 for making the playoffs so exciting. We won all but one... I couldn't ask for more. Oh, and sorry to 121 for punching a hole through their ball collector... my bad. But hey, we're still the champs for UTC! See you guys in Florida!

I would really like to thank everyone who made the Babson students that I dragged along feel welcome at the UTC regional on Sat. I would especially like to thank team 237 (whom they sat with) as well as team 984 (from Wellesley, MA, the town surrounding Babson) for making us Babson students feel extra-special when we came & visited their pit ("Youre in FIRST and a Babson student? Where have you been all season?!?")...and another special thank-you to Leon for specifically finding us & hanging out for a couple of hours.

The comments I recieved out of them were:
"It was more exciting than you made it out to be, Jess...it was awesome"
"Places like this bring out your inner techie, and make you feel great about it."

This year I brought 4 students (I was expecting about 10, and the rest slept in/backed out)...I hope that next year that I can bring double that amount.

See you at Nationals!
-Jessica B
