Can't be, that's the LI Sound. Probably a submarine out of New London or a sailboat. Otherwise, amazing pic. Cani you get it in 1152 x 864, cause i think that might fit better on my desktop.

Actually it looks like one of the boueys (sp?) that are out and about there. Or just some stray stuff that's wandered all the way out of Bpt Harbour. lol

.Actually, when i put the pic on my desktop, and saw it all nice and big, i realized that it is a bouey (yeah, i can't spell either). you can tell by it's shape. the top is thin, and the bottom is big and round, exactly like a bouey. plus, there's lots of boueys out there to mark the path that the ferry has to take, so it makes sense.

about the actually picture itself though, i've been on the new lodon/orient point ferry a lot, and many of the times i've been on it, i've seen things just like that, though i never had a camera at the time . Oh well, it's still a great pic, maybe you'll get some more next year.

Wow, indeed.

Wow, indeed. That's an incredible picture.

All you need now, is some sort of inspirational saying scrawled across the bottom and you'd be in business

A suggested "inspriational saying"

Deep Thoughts

-- by Jack Handey.

There was a man who was asked "If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one there to hear it, does it make a sound?" He thought "I can put in ear plugs, then it will be like I was not there to hear it." So he went into the forest and cut down a tree to find out the answer, but of course he heard no sound. But then he hit himself in the head and said "I can't hear, no wonder that one made no sound. I must do it over." So he tried again. And again. And again. This is what the forest looked like when he finished.

----------------------

With apologies to all normal, sane, and awake individuals.

OK, so it is 5:33 in the morning , and I need more sleep.

-dave

Deep Thoughts

As I stepped onto the martian planet for the first time and removed my helmet I let out a sigh; at least that's what I told the martians it was.
