Re: Help Help Help!!!!!!!!

That's hard.

I can't say I can help that much on replacing the stuff, but good luck on finding the canis familiarises (-arii?) that did it.

Re: Help Help Help!!!!!!!!

Looks like they knew what they could, and grabbed the OI/RC because it looked cool. Maybe they're aspiring robotists...

Keep eyes peeled on eBay.

Re: Help Help Help!!!!!!!!

Almost certainly somone from your school, probably a disaffected former-teammember.

Re: Help Help Help!!!!!!!!

yea, I agree with the above posts. I don't see why anybody would steal pneumatic equipment. (Unless they like things that are shiny.)

Also, did they come through a window, or break open a door. Cause compressors and jig saws are pretty big to get through a window. (unless I'm mistaken.)

Barring an alarm on the door itself, one could go in the window and out the door....

I'm going to have to agree that its an 'inside job' or someone who has had contact with your team, seeing as in most schools these are not the common things from my experience that are stolen.

Not necessarily.

A few years ago, the tech center at Appleton East High School (where 93 builds their robot) was broken into ... the kids that did it only took the team's programming laptop, which was worth $500 at BEST, and walked right by all the expensive TV/Media equipment, computers, cameras, projectors, nice laptops etc, etc. It wasn't an inside job at all -- the kids who were caught had no affiliation with the team. I guess they just thought it'd be cool to have an outdated laptop. *shrug*

That said, I'm sorry to hear about your loss - I hope you're able to retrieve some of your equipment!!!
