I didnt even notice that there's a spell checking button.

Not to brag or anything, but I spell well enough that I only make a few typos and I'm not even gonna waste the time checking, which I'm sure many other people wont do either.

I would like the option to make it automatic when I hit post....

I'd prefer to not have that on all the time. If it's a user-selectable option, I can accept that. However, I am like Cory, in that I usually only have very few typos, if I have spelling mistakes. Because of this, I would find a mandatory spell-checker rather intrusive and time-wasting. If it's an option, though, the people who want it can have it, and the people who don't can ignore it.

...not to mention that I sometimes make intentional tpyos for comic effect.

On the up-side, Brandon's got it on his to-do list as a user option, so that way we know he won't forget..and we'll be able to misspel in piece.

That's not true, take for example 'majorextraordinare' by Brandon. I find that rather humorous. And I would rather right things shorthand some times, like 'gonna' even though technically it isn't proper. Or maybe I just like to contradict you Elgin.
