All the teams in Oregon cannot do a Raffle if they are school affiliated is what I have heard. So alot of fundraisers are not available to us, and everyone has to be approved before we can do it.

Here is a creative idea. Pick a smartest person on your team and send him/her to "who wants to be a millionaire". I bet you could win at least few hundred bucks

(We did this for Model UN last year when we went to Nationals... Based on its success, I think my team will do it for robotics this year since we're only allowed to have one fundraiser)
Have a coffee/cafe mocha/hot chocolate sale before school starts. In colder states like Michigan, students and teachers will especially appreciate a nice, warm drink topped off with marshmallows and whipped cream with a biscotti on the side... Wow... I'm thirsty now
